Disclaimer:
This tool provides an approximate engineering estimate at STC, without temperature, interconnect or encapsulation losses.
Actual wattage may vary depending on cell topology (such as half-cut or parallel string layouts),
materials, and manufacturing methods. For exact wattage and design optimisation, please contact our

Frequently asked questions
How is this different from a rooftop solar calculator?
Rooftop calculators work out how many standard panels and how many kW a building needs. This tool works the other way round: you enter the exact space you have, and it estimates the single made-to-order panel that fits it.
What panel sizes can I enter?
Any size up to 1200 mm wide and 2400 mm high. For larger panels, unusual shapes or multi-panel layouts, contact the NTBS R&D team.
Why does the result change with battery voltage?
The panel's operating voltage has to be high enough to charge the battery, and within the range NTBS builds for that battery voltage. The cells are arranged differently for 12 V, 24 V and 48 V, which changes the current and the total wattage that fit in the same space.
Why do I see an out-of-range message?
Each battery voltage has a supported wattage band for a single panel, and a minimum voltage needed to charge it. If your size falls outside these, try a different battery voltage or send the design to NTBS R&D for a customised solution.
How accurate are the results?
They are estimates at standard test conditions (STC), meant for early feasibility. Real output depends on temperature, materials and the final cell layout. The NTBS R&D team confirms the exact specification for your panel.
Can NTBS build the panel I designed here?
Send the design to NTBS on WhatsApp from the results. Our R&D team reviews the size, voltage and application and comes back with a specification.
